We are enthusiastic model engineering hobbyists who want to share our passion with others. With a wealth of experience from professional model locomotive building to volunteering on steam railways in several countries, we hope to be able to help you quickly and efficiently with all your model engineering detailing requirements.

With the number of model engineers steadily in decline, fewer younger members seem to take on the challenge of building model locomotives from scratch. We see people with much less time to devote to the hobby as they contend with balancing a working and family life, whilst still wanting to enjoy the running of a locomotive. The desire to own a stunning looking, well detailed loco that can be constructed with much more ease and simplicity than scratch building, remains a dream for many.

We hope that by harnessing the wonders of modern technology and fabricating processes, that we can help more people achieve their dreams, maybe even starting a project they would not have previously thought of, safe in the knowledge that there is help out there for some of the more complicated parts and processes.
